Preschoolers
Preschoolers are generally classified as two and half to six year old children in my region. This is a range of ages where a lot of development happens! Preschoolers are curious and ambitious scientists trying to understand the world they are in. While they are still in the period of the absorbent mind they are now conscious of it. They notice the things they are learning, they seek out more to learn and they ask questions. So many questions. I will be sharing ideas and tips for designing spaces and routines that allow preschoolers the freedom and ability to explore, while helping parents maintain clear and fair limits. I will also be sharing some fun preschoolers approved activities and games.

Not Just Shelf Work
Often when people hear the word Montessori, or are new to Montessori they tend to place a lot of focus and energy on the appearance of their shelves. Curating a beautiful and functional indoor space is wonderful but it is even more important to make sure you spend...
Preparing for Preschoolers

Finding the Answer Together
Where toddlers ask "what is it?", preschoolers tend to ask "why is it, and how does it fit?" How does this idea fit into the framework I have built about how the world works? Why do these things work the way they do? How are things categorized? These questions can...
